ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS STEP BY STEP
Complete all mandatory fields (particularly those has * symbol) of your details and the registration type as a Student or Other. You have the option to register any specific particular day(s) that you wish to attend or simply a full 5-days of the Winter School. Then press “Proceed to Payment”.
There are three payment methods, either (1) paid by credit card immediately or, (2) pay later via BPAY, EFT, cheque (by mail), or (3) in person at The University of Queensland, St Lucia campus cashier (Level 3, JD Story Building #61).
When choosing to pay later, you will have to complete some details required to generate a Proforma Invoice (i.e. either the invoice is to be addressed to you yourself or to your institution/organisation). Please note that a validity date will be shown in the Proforma Invoice.
For early bird registration, the proforma invoice would be valid to 15 June 2016 (end of early bird registration). For normal registration from 16 June, the proforma invoice would be valid to 26 June 2016 (online registration closes).
Should payment is not made by the specified validity date, your registration and the Proforma Invoice would be null and void. You will have to register again.
The Proforma Invoice will be a tax invoice for GST when you make a payment.

IMB (Institute for Molecular Bioscience) tour offers an opportunity for you to explore IMB’s laboratories, see their scientific researchers in action and hear about the global impact of IMB’s local research.
The tour is free to registrants. There will be two (2) tours and each is limited to 50 attendees. The first tour will take place on Wednesday 6 July 2016 immediately after the program finishes at 12:30 p.m. and the second tour at 1:00 p.m. Please register your interest by sending an email to Winter School Coordinator Ms Lanna Wong (email@example.com) with your preference of the tour at 12:30 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.

(This workshop is limited to 36 attendees only and is intended for bench scientists, and no previous informatics experience is needed.)
To register to attend this workshop, attendee has to:
(1) First, register via the Winter School web site for all five days of the Winter School (i.e. complete the online registration process with confirmed registration payment receipt).
(2) Next, send an email to Winter School Coordinator Ms Lanna Wong (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the Subject “Request to attend special Wednesday afternoon workshop” attaching a copy of the confirmed registration payment receipt.

SOFTWARE CARPENTRY WITH R BOOTCAMP
This year Winter School also associates with a Software Carpentry with R Bootcamp. The Bootcamp is hosted by Brisbane Software Carpentry. The bootcamp will run on Monday and Tuesday (11 – 12 July 2016) independently after the Winter School at St Leo’s College, College Road, St Lucia.
