Planning single cell experiments and sample suitability – Sam Lukowski

High-throughput single-cell RNAseq is an incredibly powerful tool for assessing cellular heterogeneity, investigating cell lineage specification, and for identifying rare transcripts and cell subtypes. If you are thinking of performing single cell RNAseq assays, the source of your samples and how they are prepared is crucial to the outcome. In this talk, I will discuss the finer points of scRNAseq experimental design; whether the samples you might be considering for scRNAseq will be suitable; and what options are available for you to help answer that burning biological question..
